Pasts and Crafts

Originally planned as monthly videos, this YouTube series has ended up being a bit more irregular, but hopefully in the future it will get back to regularity! In each episode, I look at a particular object type and attempts to replicate it, chatting along the way about how these objects are perceived archaeologically, the theories and discussions surrounding them, and my own experience with them. World Virtual Tours

I am an official tour guide on the online platform "World Virtual Tours", where I host monthly webinars on a range of topics related to the themes of The Archaeologist's Teacup. These include the very popular "Mysteries of Archaeology" series and "Everyday Archaeology" series. To register for the tours, and to see upcoming tours and dates, you can see my profile on the official website here.

Social Media Platforms

The Archaeologist's Teacup instagram account emerged in 2018 (previously Stone Age Monkey) to share updates on my PhD research, interesting facts about archaeology, crafting projects, and insights into academic life. The aim was twofold: First, to demonstrate that it is possible to combine academic publishing and archaeology research with a more accessible form of outreach. And second, to improve general public knowledge of archaeological information. Now, I use it to share my current projects, and engage in science communication.
